Welcome to Cincinnati Mennonite Fellowship

A congregation of Mennonite Church USA

Join us for Worship

We welcome visitors to worship with us on Sundays and explore our faith community. We meet at 10:30am each week.

Purpose and Identity Retreat

As a Christ-centered community, we seek to encounter and engage the movement of God’s Spirit in our midst, and to discern where and how the Spirit is guiding us to grow beyond this present moment.  With this intent, we will gather Friday evening, November 2 and Saturday morning, November 3, for a Purpose and Identity Retreat at CMF. Recognizing that life in community is complex, and in order to facilitate discernment and prayerful contemplation of our current identity, and where and how we imagine ourselves emerging into God’s will for us, the Purpose and Identity Task Force has invited Troy Bronsink to facilitate the retreat.  Troy is founder of the Hive: A Center for Contemplation, Art, and Action, and author of Drawn In: A Creative Process for Artists, Activists, and Jesus Followers. All are invited to participate in this weekend of holy work, even if you can only attend one of the two sessions.  Child-care will be provided, as well as a simple supper Friday evening and a celebration meal Saturday afternoon to culminate the retreat.  Please direct questions to the Purpose and Identity Task Force: Connie Briggs, Dustin Miller, Keith Lehman, and Pastor Renee Kanagy.

Every year on Pentecost Sunday we celebrate our annual covenant signing.

Next Community Meal: October 23

CMF Welcome Statement

Cincinnati Mennonite Fellowship is a Christ-centered, welcoming and inclusive church community committed to peace and justice. We acknowledge and affirm the image of God in persons of every race, ability, class, gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation. We celebrate an open communion in which all who seek a closer journey with God are welcome to participate. We invite all who covenant with us to join in the full life of the congregation.

Mennonite Church USA encourages people and congregations to “Learn, Pray, Join” together for immigration justice in August and September. With regard to this initiative, Sue Park-Hur, MC USA denominational minister for Leadership Development said “The God who gathers and scatters people continues to move amongst us and calls us to join in God’s reconciling mission with our brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of our legal status.” Find out more about MC USA’s Learn, Pray, Join Initiative at the Learn, Pray Join Website. Subscribe to the Menno Snapshots blog to receive stories from people across MC USA about immigration justice.
