We welcome visitors to worship with us on Sundays and explore our faith community. If you plan to visit, here are some helpful things to know:
How to get here:
When we meet:
We worship at 10:30am on Sunday mornings. Worship usually lasts until around 11:45am. We also have Sunday school for all ages beginning at 9:30am. We do not have Sunday school during the summer months – June, July, and August.
Getting in the building:
Once you arrive, you will find parking along the streets near our building. There is also a public pay lot about two blocks away on Madison Road, next to the hardware store. Our newly remodeled front entrance has a lift that is accessible from off the alley to the right of the building. To call the lift to the door, you must hold the call button in until it arrives. Operating instructions are posted inside. We are continuing to remodel, so there is still some areas under construction. Please forgive our dust as we strive to update our church and make it an even better place for all.
What to wear:
We dress casually. Not many ties or fancy dresses.
Greeters and Introduction:
You’ll be greeted at the door and given a bulletin for the service. You’re welcome to sit wherever you like in the sanctuary. During the service there is a time when we open up for sharing reflections. This is also a time when visitors are welcome to introduce themselves. We enjoy knowing who you are.
If you’re interested in knowing more about the congregation you can indicate this on a visitors card. Just fill out the card and drop it in the offering basket when it comes around (we don’t expect visitors to give money during this time.) The pastor will email, call, or write you a letter. If you’re just visiting and aren’t interested in further contact, you won’t be contacted more than a note saying that we were glad you visited us.
